Apollo have hundreds of vacancies each year and these are varied. We have Housekeeping, light office and school cleaning, deep kitchen cleaning, industrial cleaning and many more. These can be during school hours, weekends and overnight. We’d discuss your individual needs and the vacancy available during a telephone interview.
It’s simple. You submit your completed application form in person or by email. When a vacancy arises, we’ll get in touch with you to arrange a telephone interview. This interview takes around 15-20 minutes and after this, we’ll arrange a 45-60 minute, unpaid work trial. This is to show you the type of work available, to check you’re suitable for the position and to ensure you’ll enjoy the job.
Following that, if successful, you’ll be contacted and asked to attend an induction day where you’ll complete your paperwork, be trained, receive your uniform and be set up to begin your shifts. You’ll then enter your probationary period.
Pay varies across the Company depending on the type of work and division. Typically, a member of our team will begin at a little more than the minimum wage during the probationary period. Once this has been completed, the rate rises to a permanent rate and is reviewed annually. Our team are paid monthly and a payslip is sent electronically through our internal system.
Lots! For staff who complete their probationary period, access is given to our App which contains lots of free benefits including phone insurance, free coffee, half price gym membership, half price English lessons, half price Private healthcare and a lot more!
Even though we’re ‘Apollo Wales’, We work across the UK so positions come up regularly. For up to the minute vacancies, check our Vacancy page and take a look at our Facebook or Twitter pages.
We transfer lots of staff from Companies and local authorities during Management changes. When a Company transfers it’s staff to us, all questions will be answered during a thorough orientation and you’ll have immediate access to all our benefits.
Simply complete an application form that can be downloaded from our website and return it to us by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or hand it in at one of our Offices. You’ll expect to hear from us within two weeks. Good Luck!
